The Story of AB...
I'm April Buffery, a self-professed skincare nerd and the owner of AB Skincare Clinic, based at a lovely location in South Wales.
With over 4 years in the industry, my treatment list has expanded extensively, offering you the latest, most innovative treatments to transform your skin. Throughout the years, I have continued to expand my knowledge within the treatments I provide and keep up to date with the ever-expanding science behind skincare. I have taken extensive training courses with Image Skincare UK and USA, Bristol Beauty Aesthetics training with Klaire Reed, as well as other training courses throughout the UK and beyond, even flying out to Toronto, Canada, in 2022 to train with the amazing Dariana Garcia and Bare Studios.
This hard work has not gone unnoticed as I have recently won 4th place for the Best Skincare Specialist 2024 throughout the whole of the UK.
How and why am I in this industry?
After struggling with acne for around ten years, I personally wasted so much time and money on unsuitable or ineffective treatments which were not necessarily approached in the correct way. After learning about my own skin, the science behind skincare and how to correct these issues, I made it my mission to help others achieve their skincare goals too.
My mission is to help my clients feel confident in their beautiful, bare skin, specialising in performing treatments and creating programs which produce long lasting results, not temporary fixes.
I focus solely on what I do best!
Education has always been of key importance to me, and I pride myself on educating my clients with the advice I wish I'd received years ago so they can make a smart, strategic investment into their own skin.
